Strategy Business Analyst (VIE)

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Strategy and Business Analyst (VIE) to join the Nord Pool Strategy and Products department. The position will be based in Oslo, and start in January 2027. You will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.

You will primarily be responsible for:

• Undertaking market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, using desktop research, client meetings and attendance at selected conferences
• Monitoring the competitive landscape of services and products, conducting screening analysis to identify business targets and ensuring departmental reporting
• Producing high-quality materials (spreadsheets, presentation slides) to communicate results, conclusions and suggested actions
• Participating in regular meetings with other departments, partners and the Euronext group to ensure alignment
• Analysing business performance, identifying improvements and proposing actionable solutions
• Participating in strategy process updates, M&A processes and meetings with potential partners

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, computer science or a related field
• At least one successful internship or work experience in the energy industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business
• Experience in analysing data and creating reports and presentations
• Fluent in English
• Solid interest in energy economics, power markets and energy in general
• Experience in project management
• Excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills
• Command of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
• Fast learner, proactive behaviour and entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to multitask depending on priorities
