Sustainable Motion - ENGIE wins Sustainable Business Challenge 2019
Hugo Soons, participant of the Sustainable Business Challenge 2019 for ENGIE, opens trade to celebrate winning the Sustainable Business Challenge 2019.
The Sustainable Business Challenge was organized for the 7th time by SustainableMotion. Every year 60 young talents work on cases of companies that want to connect sustainability and business. Project agency SustainableMotion empowers the talents with programs and methods to turn their ambition and knowledge into innovative ideas and solutions. This gives companies fresh insights to become sustainable in a fast-moving world.
The ambition of ENGIE is to take the lead in the sustainable transition. ENGIE is doing this by serving CO2-neutral solutions as a service to organizations, local governments and consumers among other things. Made to measure and cost-efficient, without large investments. In the Netherlands ENGIE has a unique role because of the combination of energy and services and is therefore able to realize sustainability.
ENGIE challenges young talents to contribute in this by meeting the actual needs. The winning team of the challenge showed their innovative strength by inventing a promising solution for zero-emmision construction. The Sustainable Business Challenge shows to be a unique platform for acceleration the energy transition together with young talents.
