The VIE Internal Audit is part of the group Internal Audit team located in Paris, Porto, Oslo and Milan and covering the entire group i.e. all locations and all entities. A second rotation for the next 6-month will be determined with the VIE in a Euronext country with Internal Audit presence (e.g. Porto or Milan) considering internal audit plan execution needs and strategic initiatives.
The Internal Audit team supports Euronext in achieving its objectives by providing independent, objective reasonable assurance and advisory services to help management evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
The Euronext Internal Audit Team is composed of 15 auditors located throughout Europe locations (Paris, Porto, Oslo and Milan). The internal Audit department follow the federal model of Euronext with a matrix organization thus working and covering both locally scopes and entities but also across the geographical entities where Euronext is established and moreover covering all underlying activities (markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk, HR, Finance etc).

The Internal Audit VIE main tasks include:
The VIE will be considered as a member of the team and the Internal Audit group-wide community. In this sense he/she will contribute to the execution of the audit plan, thus participating to the different internal audit missions to which he/she is assigned. And contributing to all phases of an internal audit mission. Starting from the diagnostic phase, through the investigation phase and writing of recommendations and audit report, debriefing and publication of the audit report and the recommendation follow up. About the department
Being part of Euronext Market Services (EMS), EMS Markets is at the heart of the Euronext organization. EMS is the front line for Euronext Cash, Derivatives and Commodities business with two operational centres in Amsterdam and Paris. Managing the safety net for trading and safe keeping of the Euronext financial markets within the legal framework to ensure fair and orderly markets for all Cash, Derivatives and Commodities products trading is part of the day-to-day work. The two teams operate daily from 06:30-22:30 CET.

About the position
The Senior Market Surveillance Analyst has responsibility for a portfolio of international Equity, Index or Commodity Derivative products. As the Senior Market Analyst, you bring your expertise to the team, guide, coach the team in the day-to-day business.
One of the main tasks is to supervise the portfolio of Derivative products and trading behaviours to ensure fair and orderly trading is safeguarded. Within your responsibilities you will take necessary actions to prevent irregularities in the market and to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
The candidate will be primarily responsible for:
§ Taking ownership with the team of the business-as-usual activities and coordinating the different business as usual team activities
§ Support the Operational and Project lead in the business as usual and Project work
§ Run the Serious Incident Management process in crises situations and provide expertise
§ Maintaining the derivative safety nets that are used for trading to avoid occurrences such as significant price deviations or flash crashes. This can be done by tuning settings, resolving derivative pricing alerts, and adjusting pricing parameters.
§ Based on rules and regulations, take decisions to halt and reopen the derivative contracts and decide if trades are aberrant or if orders need to be cancelled.
§ Monitor the Derivative alerts, spot, report and escalate irregularities based on the Euronext trading procedures, rulebooks, MIFIDII regulation and the Market Abuse framework.
§ Maintain the test environment and perform sanity checks for new trading platform releases to secure a safe production environment

The Listing Department of Euronext Amsterdam is responsible for building and developing the relationship with issuers, potential issuers and our partners in the Dutch and European ecosystem. Our commercial strategy is based on three pillars:
1) increase NPS by our current issuers by offering our client best-in-class support, knowledge, ECM/DCM expert advice and access to our network;
2) development, coordination and execution of all sales- and client account management activities for all issuers listed in Amsterdam;
