Euronext Securities – Project Management IT Internship

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will support the team in the following activities:

  • Act as a guardian of the Group PM policy, lead its roll-out and ensure teams respect the policy;
  • Centralize and report on capacity based on input received from resource managers;
  • Support all key contributors in the preparation of key project documentation;
  • Maintain macro-plan (overall project plan) and detail plan (3 months view on deliverables, dependencies and resource working on it);
  • Responsible for capacity management and ensure resource availability for all upcoming phase (demand & capacity);

Euronext is looking for an intern to support the offices of the Group CEO and Euronext Paris CEO, for 6 months.

You will work directly with the Chief of Staff of the Group CEO and the Paris CEO Business Manager. You will contribute to strategic projects, be responsible for transversal internal projects of Euronext Paris and produce insights for both CEOs, leveraging the talent and expertise across the entire Euronext organization.

This internship is a unique opportunity to get involved in a variety of strategic initiatives with direct impact on the growth and development of the company, while achieving concrete impact on the organization through hands-on projects.

You will get a multidimensional exposure to the ecosystem surrounding financial markets (issuers, French Tech companies, financial institutions, high-frequency traders, regulators) and a better understanding of the inner workings of an ambitious, growing pan-European company across functions (Sales, Strategy, M&A, HR, Marketing, Communications).

During your internship, you will focus on the following missions :

Support and empower the Group CEO and French CEO in their daily interactions: press interviews, client meetings, negotiations and external conferences

  • Write fact-based, concise background papers, briefing materials and supporting presentations for internal or external meetings, liaising with relevant experts and stakeholders within the organization;

  • Support the organization of corporate events that are of critical importance for the organization, for example: Euronext Annual Conference, Sustainability Week

  • Monitor the progress of these projects, or other specific topics: organize & participate to meetings with relevant stakeholders, take minutes, follow-up of ongoing issues.

  • For the Group CEO, support the design of the future strategic plan by engaging in prospective research as well as monitoring relevant internal projects and initiatives.

Manage internal projects related to the Paris Office

  • Take part to the Smart Office project, which aims at renovating Euronext Paris offices to adjust to new ways of working and to better support collaboration and hybrid working mode;

  • Write content dedicated to internal communications, in particular the monthly newsletter and ad-hoc intranet articles;

  • Prepare relevant committees: Works Council, Paris Management Committee;

  • Manage internal projects, for example: steer the ESG France network (initiatives focused on ocean protection and financial literacy), organize Onboarding days, coordinate visits of professional organisations and public authorities.

You will also be able to participate in other projects and initiatives of the CEO Offices, depending on the strategic direction of Euronext and your preferences.

Company Webcast

Company Webcast (a Euronext Company) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Head of Production for the European market who wants to join our team.

Company Webcast, based in Capelle aan den IJssel, provides high-end webcast and webinar solutions to more than 700 corporates and local governments, through a state-of-the-art platform using the most advanced technology. We offer flexible and tailor-made formats, depending on the customers’ needs, i.e. video or audio webcasts on location, conference call webcasts, highly interactive professional studio webcasts and self-service webinar licences. Since February 2017, Company Webcast is part of Euronext group and operates studios in Capelle aan den IJssel, Amsterdam, Brussel, Paris, London, Milan and Frankfurt.

Summary of the role

We are looking for a visionary and passionate leader who can guide Company Webcast to the next level for our Studio Production facilities. With our own studio’s operated in 6 countries this is an opportunity of a life time!

You will manage a team of 5 and lead the team by example. You bring an inspirational mindset to the team and deliver positive team spirit.

You will be reporting to the Head of Sales and Operations of Company Webcast.  You will work closely with the Head of Event Management to support our customer needs and grow our business with the highest customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Team management

You will lead a European team who are responsible for (technically) executing Webcast / Studio events. Your team looks after the production facilities for all 6 locations in Europe.

  • Product & technical management

You are the driving force for creating the vision on how Company Webcast can be in the forefront with its Studio operations, and you know how you can turn a creative idea into a sellable new product / feature. You know all about the latest technologies, are willing to pilot those and build a case to justify the investment. Concerning new technologies your team takes the lead to evaluate new developments and you will lead the contractual engagement with technology partners supporting the studio business.

  • Project & Planning

You look after resources and inventory planning and work closely with the Head of Event Management to ensure all events are delivered on time, according to budget and with the highest customer satisfaction.

  • Operational management

Overall management of studio resources (including freelancers), inventory and studio equipment, as well as client devices such as encoders.

  • Relationship management

Establishing tactical and strategic contacts at management level (including technical vendors, installation companies, partners) and lead the negotiations.

Your profile

You are knowledgeable and experienced in Studio Production in a corporate environment. You have excellent communication skills and are a visionary leader.

But the following requirements are also very important:

  • At least 10 years’ in Studio Production (coming from a TV / broadcast background is preferred)

  • Experience as Team Leader bringing a positive mindset

  • Strong client-focused mindset

  • Results oriented and hands-on attitude

  • You have a unique combination of creative and technical mindset, and have designed and implemented various studio settings; you are knowledgeable in new emerging technologies.

  • Strong working knowledge and experience with equipment such as Newtek Tricaster Elite versions 1 & 2 in Chroma key and LED studio settings.

  • Speaking English fluently (C1 level and up), additional languages as in Dutch and French are a plus

  • Being able to perform under pressure; whether there are large scale technical difficulties or last minute emergencies; you don’t scare easily and you think quickly in solutions!

  • Affinity with webcast, webinar and/or conference call communication is an advantage (experience in video podcast a bonus)

  • Affinity with the banking / financial market is an advantage
