Working environment

Team

Euronext Paris events team is composed of a Head of Events, an Event manager as well as an administrative assistant. In the framework of Euronext marketing and communication strategy, the team is responsible of the organization of +/- 150 events per year.

The team members work in close collaboration with the following departments:  marketing, institutional communication, internal communication, human resources as well as with the management of the company. Paris team also exchanges on a daily basis with event managers based in the other Euronext locations.

            Events and projects

Events organized by Euronext are at the heart of the group’s marketing and communication strategy.

The Junior Event Officer will assist the team in the organization of major events such as:

  • Academic campuses for pre-IPO programs
  • European conferences
  • Local workshops
  • Internal initiatives

In a more autonomous manner,  the apprentice will also asked to help to organize events such as:

  • IPO ceremonies
  • Private lunches / dinners / cocktails

In addition, the apprentice will be working on pan-European projects and will be highly involved in the integration of new entities within Euronext Group.

The missions will be organized into two major categories :

Organization of physical, hybrid and virtual events

Ahead of the event

  • Suggest events concepts to our clients with the help of the manager
  • Validate with internal customers the main stakes of the event
  • Prepare guests lists and ensure data reporting
  • Manage the sending of invitations and communication emailing
  • Select the appropriate suppliers (venue, caterer, signage, animations, etc.) and prepare the related negotiations
  • Prepare presentation materials
  • Create online and offline visuals in close collaboration with a communication agency
  • Ensure the follow-up of deliverables before the event
  • Prepare all the materials needed for a smooth running of the event

During the event

After the event

  • Prepare post-mortem analysis of events: attendance reporting, analysis of satisfaction questionnaires, etc.

  • Help on the integration of new Euronext entities

Role Summary

The Data Engineer is following the project in an agile manner during the entire life cycle: from the very start of the idea with the business teams to the day-to-day in production.

 His/her main missions are:

  • Understanding business needs, defining functional requirements and proposing technical solutions in response.  
  • Designing and developing the data transformation flows (python,SQL,PySpark …) inside our datalab infrastructure (Dataiku)
  • When tested, delivering into production and monitoring the smooth execution on a daily basis.

Key accountabilities
This role is a high profile and exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive self-starter to be involved in a growing business, and be at the heart of innovation of the data business in the European marketplace.

The role of the Data Engineer is to deliver innovative and/or strategic initiatives for ADS business teams. This includes the following responsibilities:

  • Exploring new ideas with the business teams (new product, new possible automation…) and refining them
  • Studying the feasibility by identifying: the right data sources (internal or external), data processing  required and the output format / delivery channels   
  • Designing and developing the optimized data processing flow matching with the required level of scalability and performance
  • Coordinating with the business teams to follow the different tasks and progress on the various use cases
  • Writing the associated documentation for the delivered projects
  • Monitoring the use cases running in production on the production Datalab nodes.

The Equity Listing intern will contribute to a diversity of projects in close collaboration with the Head of Equity Listing.

Euronext pre-IPO programmes

In order to help Tech start-ups and SMEs get ready for a future IPO, Euronext deploys, hand-in-hand with a group of key local and global financial and legal advisers, a series of pre-IPO Programmes covering 10 countries: France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Norway, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.  These Programmes include TechShare, a European initiative supported by 70+ Partners which has welcome more than 400 participants since its creation back in 2015.

Within the Primary Markets and Corporate Services department, the Equity Listing Intern will contribute to the preparation and roll-out of TechShare across Europe; and assist in the upcoming redesign of Euronext’s Pre-IPO programme offering. He/She will be based 6 months in the Euronext Paris office. His/Her responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sales representatives in their Programme partnership renewals.

  • Communicate with Participants, Partners, and internal stakeholders during the recruitment of potential IPO candidates, and the preparation and launch phases of the programmes.

  • Help deploy the communication strategies for the programmes, including marketing emailing and social media campaigns.

  • Assist in the creation and update of materials for marketing campaigns (online and offline).

  • Coordinate the Programmes’ event calendars and assist the Events team.

  • Track budget expenditures.

For the Finnish market, ComplyLog is looking for a Sales Manager for supporting new strategic business opportunities and initiatives with new and existing clients in Italy. He/she will develop the client portfolio and build revenue by acquiring new clients. He/she will oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify business development targets.

We’re searching for an experienced IT Engineer to join us in developing real, workable solutions with a foundation of innovation. The right person for the job will have strong technical knowledge in conceptual design, building planning and detailing, construction documentation, and construction administration. Key Accountabilities

As  Solution Architect, you will:

  • Design, document, and execute multiple simultaneous high-quality projects (from dev to prod) by collaborating with all internal and external teams. Act as a coach, contribute to people empowerment, incorporate company standards and identify new/good practices to share.

  • Maintain core architecture documentation (cartography, technical blueprints, reference architectures, patterns and standards). Acts as an expert and evangelist in standardization and technologies.

  • Drive R&D initiatives, work with managers and teams to identify innovative technologies in line with IT strategy and deliver POC

  • Stay trained, cultivate expert knowledge about architectures domains and technologies. Attend to conferences to learn new tech/practices and collect concrete experience feedback. Communicate on findings (in Teams, newsletters), link with R&D work-streams.

  • Participate to the construction of the Architecture roadmap and to various governance activities (Open-source committee, Intellectual property management, steering committees). Contribute to the long term vision and technical choices ensuring maintainability

Profile and Skills

Euronext is looking at the following profile:

  • 3+ years of IT experience in a leadership / decision making position: Technical Lead or Architect

  • Proven experience in project execution and delivery as Delivery Manager (or ~ Scrum Master/Project Manager)

  • Hands-on experience with software development and systems

  • Experience in micro-services or/and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

  • Strong expertise in DevOps and CI/CD ; In depth knowledge of multiple tools contributing to a CI/CD/CT pipeline

  • Proficient with cloud technologies (AWS + IaC with CloudFormation) and Containers (Docker, ECS/EKS)

  • Knowledge of OO coding languages (Java, Python, C++)

  • Familiarity with main operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)

  • Understanding of strategic IT solutions

  • Excellent communication skills and team work

The Risk is part of the Risk, Audit, and Compliance role family for which an individual scope for each department exists, but all contribute to our control accountability, preserving the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and control are common to all the Audit, Risk and Compliance activities.

Role Summary

The Corporate Functions Risk Manager, under the supervision of Euronext Group CRO, is responsible for the implementation in its scope of the company’s ‘three lines of defence’ Risk policy and works with international team-based Risk Coordinators to develop Risk Profiles and related Indicators by identifying and documenting with the business the various risks the company may face.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead Corporate Functions (primarily IT, Cyber, HR, Compliance, Projects) risk team and organize the Group risk management plan
  • Safeguard ERM risk policy application groupwide including taxonomy,  procedure and the Risk tool.
  • Coordinate risk management works for transversal Corporate Functions and support other Risk Managers when needed
  • Work with team-based risk coordinators, support first-line development of risk profiles, through periodic reviews.
  • Assist, advise and challenge management in Corporate Functions on managing risks by identifying, analysing and advising on mitigation actions.
  • Act as an ambassador of the Risk Function to the Corporate Functions management to reinforce a risk culture at Euronext.
  • Assist in the development, management and monitoring of key risk indicators and promoting risk awareness across the Euronext Group.
  • Be the point of contact for Euronext Group for Operational Risk and lead the dedicated Risk Forums that are organized on that topic
  • Participate in various projects impacting the Corporate Functions scope.
  • Lead Groupwide Risk Group Discussions on topics related to Corporate Functions risks.
  • Develop and communicate on risk appetite and usage for decision-making.

Your profile

  • Excellent knowledge of risk management principles and ability challenge operational risk.
  • Detail-oriented, deep dive on key issues and risk processes to maintain a group-wide approach
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Operational Risk positions in Financial Institutions.
  • Previous management of IT Projects and/or Audit experience.
  • Knowledge of the company’s markets, operations and IT is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to lead an empower a small  and international team and organize their work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English required.
