Joan Orús, CEO of QEV Technologies, sounded the Gong this morning on the occasion of the listing of the company. QEV Technologies, the European manufacturer of electric vehicles for corporate fleet and public transport clients, listed through the legal merger with the Special Purpose Acquisition Company SPEAR Investments I.
They were welcomed by René van Vlerken (Head of Listing Euronext Amsterdam) and Susana de Antonio (Head of Listing Euronext Spain).

Winner of the School Competition 2023

Today, Rijnlands Lyceum from Sassenheim was welcomed for the second time for being the winner of the School Competition. During this competition, thousands of secondary school students take part in a digital investment competition. This competition is an initiative of Stichting Capital Amsterdam and is a biannual event that is part of the broader education platform BeleggerUitlegger.
One of the winning students was therefore given the honour of ringing the Gong today.The class was welcomed by Henry van Glabbeek, board secretary of Euronext Amsterdam

It has been 25 years since APG first invested in listed real estate. The global pension administration organisation saw their investments in logistics real estate, particularly distribution centres, double to 20 per cent in recent years.
To celebrate the anniversary, Rutger van der Lubbe, Head of Global Real Estate Investment Strategy at APG, rang the Gong this morning.
The APG team was welcomed by Paul Noordam, Senior Manager Sales and Product Management at Euronext Amsterdam.

The Amsterdam markets
Regulatory bodies
Euronext Amsterdam is governed by the Act on Financial Supervision of 28 September 2006. Operation of a regulated market in the Netherlands is subject to prior licence. This licence is granted to Euronext by the Dutch Minister of Finance. The AFM (Autoriteit Financiële Markten) and the Dutch National Bank act as the regulatory authority for members of Euronext Amsterdam.
The AFM:

Monitors the primary and secondary markets

Monitors clearing and settlement operations.
Dutch market financial supervision is carried out by:

‘De Nederlandsche Bank’ (DNB), which supervises financial institutions and the financial sector;

The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), which supervises the conduct of the financial markets.
Rule Book
A single Euronext Rule Book governs trading on all Euronext Securities and Derivatives Markets. It contains both harmonised and non-harmonised, or local, rules.
