The candidate will primarily be responsible for:
Index design work, including data analysis, modelling and back testing, rules building, drafting of marketing material and operational handovers
Customer consultancy - answering client requests on rules, compositions, mechanisms, data providers etc.
Ensuring consistency of internal databases, data quality checks when designing indices
Preparing index presentations including financial metrics
Doing operational works such as requesting ISIN codes, making data vendor announcements, liaising with the data providers (Bloomberg, Reuters and similar)
Doing market research to identify areas of growth whatever the type of trading products.
Education
Masters degree, preferably in mathematics, engineering or computer science with strong finance elements and business knowledge. We are looking for our new Data Analyst Apprentice in the Statistics and Analytics team. This position is based in Paris. With the other Data Analysts of the team, you will work on deriving insights from Euronext vast pool of historical market data and other data sources to support data driven decision of the business and sales teams, as well as operations and communication teams.
You will contribute to the evolution of the technics and tools put in place to answer the expectations for data self-service and will be responsible for actively engaging in the initiative to implement optimal analysis contents that are relevant to internal and external stakeholders. As part of the business team owning this historical data database, you will also contribute as a data expert to the definition and evolution of this database in relation with other business teams.
