Business Continuity Test October 2021


INTERBOLSA has in place a process for constant maintenance of its Business Continuity Plan, according to the best international practices, in order to ensure that the strategy and the procedures defined within the plan are capable to address any foreseeable crisis situation allowing, thus, the good functioning of the Market.

In this context INTERBOLSA will proceed with its annual Business Continuity test on October 30, 2021, in a T2S production environment, with connectivity to SWIFT and with the participation of the Market.

The European Central Bank makes available the T2S platform to the participating CSD, twice a year, on a non-working day, Saturday, for the testing of the activation of their disaster recovery plans. T2S will extend the settlement period in real time, after processing the Night Time Settlement, until the beginning of Saturday afternoon, being available during the morning for the mentioned test.

The testing plan contains the following phases:

  1. Activation of the INTERBOLSA’s systems and services from the disaster recovery site;
  2. Availability of the systems to the community, in the period between 12:00 and 14:00 CET for testing.

During the availability period of the platform, the Participants should verify their access and the functionality of the disaster recovery by executing work procedures: queries, file downloads as well as the introduction of settlement instructions in real time, having in mind that all information inserted or changed during the test, will be used (processed) in the main system in the morning of the next working day, November 1, 2021 (Monday)
