Today, Leverage Shares PLC lists Stock Tracker ETPs. It contains approximately nine single-stock trackers, making investing in popular American stocks more accessible to a broader audience. To celebrate the listing, Raj Sheth, Sales Director at Leverage Shares PLC, sounded the gong virtually with Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager at Euronext Amsterdam. 

In celebration of the money raised for cancer research for The Erasmus MC Cancer Institute, as well as the organisation of the "Journey against Cancer", The Daniel den Hoed Foundation sounded the gong virtually this morning. For 130 years, Philips, the leading health technology company, has been in operation. To celebrate, Frans van Houten, CEO of Philips, was welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, for the opening of trading day. Mirjam Rubbens, responsible for the Spine business at Philips Image Guided Therapy, sounded the traditional gong this morning on this special occasion. The company was founded in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and is listed on Euronext Amsterdam since 2 October 1912.

Juan Alcaraz, Founder and CEO of Allfunds, Luca Renzini (Chief Commercial & Operations Officer), Borja Largo (Chief Fund Groups Officer) and Amaury Dauge (CFO) sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the Initial Public Offering of the company. During the RTL Z Beursspel, participants learn how the stock exchange operates by investing with fictitious currency

Eline Kik, director Green Business Club Zuidas, sounded the gong virtually today on the occasion of the club’s 10-year jubilee. Besides, on March 29th, various companies located in the Zuidas area signed an ambition statement with new sustainable objectives for the coming 5 years. Trading day was opened in the virtual presence of convention participants and Marianne Brackel, Senior Liquidity Provider Sales Manager of Euronext Amsterdam.

Signify today celebrates its inclusion in the AEX index®, the major Dutch national index composed of the 25 largest companies listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Javier van Engelen, CFO of Signify, was invited to sound the gong on this occasion, together with amongst others Yue Cui, CSR, and Program Manager of the Signify Foundation and Philip van der Valk, Investor Relations Officer of Signify. René van Vlerken (Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam) welcomed them.

World- and Paralympic swim champion Marc Evers is ambassador of the Dutch Autism Association (NVA). He opened trading day today to ask attention for World Autism Day. Together with Mariska Aarts, director of the Brunel Foundation, he sounded the gong. Brunel is one of the partners of the NVA. They were welcomed by Marianne Aalders, communication manager of Euronext Amsterdam.

Annemarie Jorna, Operations Director the Netherlands of Accell Group, sounded the gong today as winner of the Young Captain Award 2020. She was virtually welcomed by Lindsay Faijdherbe, HR Business Partner of Euronext Amsterdam. For more than 15 years the Young Captain Award gives visibility to the new generation leaders in the Dutch business community.

Nick Aperghis, CFO of European FinTech IPO Company, 1 and Ben Davey, CIO of European FinTech IPO Company 1, sounded the traditional gong during a virtual ceremony this morning in the presence of Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listings of Euronext Amsterdam. With the gong ceremony they celebrated the Initial Public Offering of this Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicle.

Remon Vos, Founder and CEO of CTP, sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the Initial Public Offering of CTP. Alfen N.V. celebrates its inclusion in the AMX-index. To mark this company milestone, Roxana van der Hoogt, IT Director of Alfen N.V., sounded the gong this morning. She was welcomed by Alexander Voorham, Listing Account manager for Euronext Amsterdam. The AMX-index (Amsterdam Midcap Index) is part of the AEX Family and contains the largest companies; the following 25 are included in the Midcap.

After a 1,5 year-long renovation process, the statue of the ‘charging bull’ has returned to Beursplein. The bull was secretly placed in July 2012 at the initiative of the recently deceased Italian-American artist Arturo Di Modica (January 26, 1941 - February 19, 2021). It is a scaled-down version of the "charging bull" that the artist placed 23 years earlier - also without consultation - in front of the entrance to the New York Stock Exchange. The symbolism of the statue is still as prevalent today: Di Modica wanted to spread the message to Europe to stay positive, even during economic downtimes.

FlexShares ETFs & Northern Trust Asset Management celebrates the listing of 2 ETFs on Euronext. Gerard van Leusden, Head of Sales, EMEA, sounded the gong virtually on behalf of Marie Dzanis, EVP, Head of Asset Management, EMEA Northern Trust Asset Management, and in the presence of amongst others Brieuc Louchard, who is responsible for ETFs within Euronext.

Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, sounded the gong for the opening of the Retail Brokers Advisory Committee. She did this together with Rauke Wouda, Senior Product Developer of Euronext Amsterdam, Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager of Euronext Amsterdam and in the virtual presence of a few committee members.

Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager of Euronext, welcomed Inger Leemans, Professor Cultural History on the VU Amsterdam. Leemans sounded the gong virtually on the occasion of the 3-day Making Sense of Finance Congress.

It is International Women’s Day today! Enaam Ahmed Ali, Board Member of UN Women the Netherlands, sounded the gong on this occasion. She did this together with Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and Marianne Brackel, Committee Member of Women in ETFs. The International Women’s Day 2021 theme is: “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world’’.
