Euronext Information Technology

Our IT team​ provides end-to-end technology support across the Euronext business, comprising of circa 300 staff primarily located in Porto, Lisbon, and Paris.

IT has a core responsibility for developing, supporting  and protecting the key trading platforms Optiq® in addition to the surrounding applications. In infrastructure, IT is responsible for Data Center management including all hardware, such as server & storage equipment right through to end user computing, such as desktops and mobiles. IT is also responsible for protecting Euronext systems from cyber attacks and data theft.

Role Summary

Direct report of the Head of Global Infrastructure, the Head of Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation is in charge of:

  • managing Cloud Infrastructure activity, and leading the definition of its Datacenter and Cloud strategy
  • managing the international team in charge of architecture, design, projects, support and operations of Cloud environments (AWS), and also, transversally, of automation and infrastructure as code development.

The candidate will have a key role within the Infrastructure department, being responsible to define the Datacenter and Cloud global strategy in a context of a global integration plan within Euronext group.

This role needs to combine leadership, vision, proven technical skills on Cloud environment (AWS, K8s, TERRAFORM…) and ability to improve operational effectiveness, developing agility on Infra and applicative operations.

Key Accountabilities

Euronext follows a cloud first strategy each time it could be relevant, considering the eligible workloads, the additional value introduced for Euronext business, the acceleration of projects delivery and costs optimization.

In that context, the candidate will be in charge to deliver the strategic development and operational management of Cloud environment:

  • Elaborate the move to cloud strategy with the applicative team
  • Design, develop, install and maintain Cloud services, ensuring they are inherently agile, highly reliable and comply with architectural standards

  • Mature the FINOPS approach to contain costs, establish the proper governance within the IT department in that purpose

  • the short and mid-term strategy of Datacenter consolidation within Euronext group, integrating a move to cloud strategy when relevant, providing the related business case and building the associated roadmap

The Numbering Services Team key activities include:

Role (i): Local Operating Unit

Responsibility: The creation and maintenance of LEI (Legal Entity Identifier) codes which are required for listing and trading on Euronext markets, as well as being required under MiFIR (Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation) and several other European regulatory requirements.

Role (ii): National Numbering Agency

Responsibility: Supporting our Centre of Excellence teams and international customers with ISIN (International Securities Identification Number), FISN (Financial Instrument Short Name) & CFI (Classification of Financial Instrument) coding of Irish Equity, Debt and Investment Fund securities to support listing.

Head of Numbering role

We are currently seeking to recruit a Head of Numbering Services to support the Centre of Excellence teams and international customers with LEI, ISIN, FISN and CFI coding of Irish Equity, Debt and Investment Fund securities to support both local listing and global regulatory requirements. This is a managerial role that will manage a team of approx. 6 and report into the Head of Issuers Services Operations located in Paris.

The Head of Numbering Services will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Head of EMS Issuer Services Operations on a daily basis in all capacities

  • Deliver efficient, state of the art numbering services to Euronext customers

  • Deliver upon the Euronext group strategic objectives and roadmap

Als Webcast Technician bij Company Webcast zorg je ervoor dat de live registratie (op video) van diverse evenementen in technisch opzicht vlekkeloos verloopt. 

Wat ga je doen?

Je zal een diverse rol hebben, en globaal vallen de taken in de volgende categorieën:

1. Opbouwen en testen

  • Het opbouwen op diverse locaties in heel Nederland en incidenteel in het buitenland zodat we van een evenement live beeld en audio kunnen opnemen en uitzenden. 
  • De locatie testen om te zien of aanwezige apparatuur en technische infrastructuur (b.v. Internet) voldoen om een live uitzending te verzorgen.

2. Hardware installatie en onderhoud

  • Opbouwen van ons webcast systeem bestaande uit verschillende onderdelen, b.v. fysieke encoders, audiovisuele randapparatuur, capture cards, etc.
  • Hardware configureren en aansluiten op lokale netwerk
  • Adequaat onderhouden van apparatuur van Company Webcast op locatie en tijdens transport.

3. Software installatie en configuratie

Jouw Profiel

Euronext has recently expanded its footprint with a new corporate services suite and foreign exchange trading.

The Dev Factory is the IT department owning the development roadmap of the multiple products existing in the Euronext Information System. The Products teams manage execution backlogs and deliver software validated on stand-alone or pre-integration platform.

Key Accountabilities

As  a Test Analyst intern you will:

  • Analyze specific team testing requirements, execute and automate report on expected test cases to meet the quality department’s objectives
  • Create and execute component-level test plans and test cases
  • Actively contributes to implementation of all core trading applications used for running Euronext markets
  • Identify gaps and inconsistences based on product requirements and specifications
  • Coordinates with other quality assurance units to meet company quality standards

Profile and skills

Euronext is looking at the following profile:

  • Experience working in a global quality assurance team
  • Experience with the Agile project management methodology a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in environments with changing priorities• Ability to interface with different project teams from the IT side to the business side
  • Last year student in engineering school or equivalent seeking a "projet de fin d'études" or internship of 4 to 6 months starting in november or after.
