The department

Key Accountabilities

(i) PLANNING

  • He/she will prepare, help defining, and execute the deployment strategy and execution roadmap in Italy for ECS across all customers’ segments (issuers and their ecosystem, financial services firms, private companies, government and local authorities), and contribute locally to Business Development initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of the overall ecosystem is key to identify specific client needs and to maximise cross-selling by opening doors for our Sales Specialists in a coordinated, consistent and comprehensive manner.

(ii) COMMERCIAL INTENSITY & SALES MANAGEMENT

  • He/she will execute this strategy by ensuring a high level of commercial intensity and client engagement, creating and establishing productive, collaborative, and trustful relationships with both all prospects and influencers and all Euronext’s stakeholders.

  • He/she will be expected to be particularly focused on raising opportunities by a proactive prospection, to obtain online demos or face-to-face meetings, leveraging Euronext’s high-profile brand, network, and lead generation resources.

  • He/she will organise sales campaigns and animate events to promote our Corporate Services.

  • He/she will manage the sales process with prospects and clients, negotiate the contracts (according to Euronext’s policies) to maximise cross-selling and close sales autonomously or in collaboration with Sales Specialists.

(iii) COLLABORATION & CROSS SELLING

  • He/she will ensure close cooperation and alignment between ECS and the Italy based teams towards prospects and clients.

  • He/she will coordinate and help to prioritise efficiently and transparently the client engagement in Italy with all the ECS Sales Specialists and generally all stakeholders from Euronext/Borsa Italiana.

  • He/she will be part of the account management team of the customer base and work closely with the Customer Success Management team.

Job Description:

The VIE Internal Audit is part of the group Internal Audit team located in Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo and Milan and covering the entire group i.e. all locations and all entities. The VIE, under the responsibility of the local internal audit responsible, will be located in Oslo during the first 6 months of his/her assignment. A second rotation for the next 6-month will be determined with the VIE in a Euronext country with Internal Audit presence (e.g. Copenhagen or Milan) considering internal audit plan execution needs and strategic initiatives.

The Internal Audit team supports Euronext in achieving its objectives by providing independent, objective reasonable assurance and advisory services to help management evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

The Euronext Internal Audit Team is composed of 13 auditors located throughout Europe locations (Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo and Milan). The internal Audit department follow the federal model of Euronext with a  matrix organization thus working and covering both locally scopes and entities but also across the geographical entities where Euronext is established and moreover covering all underlying activities (markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk, HR, Finance etc).

The team reports to the Head of Internal Audit who is based in Paris and who directly reports to the CEO and the chairman of the audit committee of the group.

The main ambition for 2021 is maintaining a high quality effective, efficient and independent internal audit function with expert auditors bringing added value to Euronext through pertinent audit reports and recommendations

The Internal Audit VIE main tasks include:

The VIE will be considered as a member of the team and the Internal Audit group-wide community. In this sense he/she will contribute to the execution of the audit plan, thus participating to the different internal audit missions to which he/she is assigned. And contributing to all phases of an internal audit mission. Starting from the diagnostic phase, through the investigation phase and writing of recommendations and audit report, debriefing and publication of the audit report and potentially even the recommendation follow up. This implies:

  • Identify and evaluate risks (of the relevant process scope or entity depending on the topic of the mission) to be included in the audit scope (could be concerning markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk etc).
  • Participate to understanding meetings with auditees
  • Contribute to the definition of the internal audit work program and perform the audit work on a given scope. Investigate, analyze, and conclude on potential weaknesses or anomalies identified. Propose realistic recommendation addressing the root cause in order to remediate on the identifies weaknesses.
  • Document all the audit work following the rigorous international standards for internal audit
  • Participate to clearance meetings of debriefing of findings, recommendations and the whole audit report with the different stakeholders from individual contributors to Managing Board members.
  • Follow recommendations to ensure correct implementation and closure.
  • Can participate to the Continuous monitoring and Risk Assessment Annual exercise allowing to define the following year audit plan

Education:

Working environment

The Event Team of Euronext Amsterdam currently exists of one Event Manager, who is part of a broader European team Marketing, Communication and Event Team. Job description

The VIE Listing Admission is part of the Listing Admission team located on different locations (Amsterdam and Paris) and operating in different markets and locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, London and Paris). The VIE, under the responsibility of the Admission Managers, will be located in Amesterdam during the first 6 months of his/her assignment. A second rotation for the next 6-month will be determined with the VIE in a Euronext country (e.g. Lisbon, Dublin or Oslo) considering business needs and strategic initiatives.

The VIE will handle the admission process of IPOs mainly in the market place where he/she is located but also in all Euronext markets in collaboration with the local teams. The VIE will have the mission of improving the admission process by educating and advising our business partners and clients on the Euronext rules, existing regulations and technical possibilities. He/She will also have the mission to harmonize the admission process across all Euronext group locations. Finally, the VIE will be in charge of liaising and collaborating with local regulators on specific admissions, rules and regulations.

The Listing Admission VIE's main tasks will be to:

•    Assess companies applying for an initial admission of equity securities on an Euronext market and execute the transaction. The review includes preparing a recommendation to the Euronext Listing Board to accept/refuse the listing, communicating to the stakeholders
•    Take part in kick-off meetings with prospects (C-level) and intermediaries applying for new equity listings
•    Assess companies applying for an accreditation as listing sponsor 
•    Educate and support local Listing Euronext’s business partners on Euronext’s listing rules/regulations
•    Improving and harmonizing the admission process across all locations
•    Contribute to the annual Issuers and Listing Sponsors reviews 


The VIE will report to the Head of Equity Listing Execution and will work in close collaboration with the Listing teams across all Euronext group locations.

COMPLIANCE

  • The Compliance department covers the Corporate, Listing and Member Compliance.

  • This covers amongst others: Insider dealing, Anti- Money laundering and sanctions lists, bribery and corruption, fraud and requirements from the Market Abuse Regulation as a listed company.   • As an Apprentice, you will be a part of the Corporate Compliance and Listing Compliance teams and assist in the execution of the Compliance program for the Euronext Group.
  • The Compliance program is executed by a team of Compliance officers in different jurisdictions. Executing the Compliance program entails both monitoring and reviewing policies and documents.
