Role Summary

The Legal Department is a support function and as such performs inside the Euronext Group legal piece of advice and assistance.

Euronext is seeking to hire an IT Lawyer to work in-house to support the Euronext group with primary responsibilities to support the legal functions including but not limited to IT contract drafting and negotiation, and providing general support in the IT field to the Head of Legal. The lawyer will also bring assistance as regards IT law impacts to the new initiatives being launched.

Key accountabilities

• Advising on legal implications of entering in new IT business opportunities;
• Drafting and negociating a variey of commercial contracts such as client/user, vendor/procurement having an IT dimension;
• Drafting IP licensing agreements, outsourcing agreements and other commercial contracts ;
• Providing practical legal advice and support on business matters;
• Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions.

The key accountabilities only describe the main activities and is not exhaustive. It evolves depending on the expertise level and ongoing projects.

Your profile

• at least 6 years as inhouse lawyer or in a lawfirm – an international experience would be appreciated
• Mid to senior level qualified lawyer with a professional background in IT law, and in one or more relevant disciplines (commercial contracts, reading open source software licences,…)
• ability to work in English
• ability to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in other business areas, external bodies and key stakeholders such as senior management, external legal counsel and other relevant
• bility to apply legal analysis in principle to real life scenarios

DEV Factory

The DEV Factory is the IT department owning the development roadmap of the multiple products existing in the Euronext Information System. The Products teams manage execution backlogs and deliver software validated on stand-alone or pre-integration platform.

Solution Design & Integration team

The Solution Design & Integration team has to ensure the functional integration for all the DEV FACTORY Products.

For each Feature delivered by a project, the Solution Design and Integration team is accountable for ensuring that for all products:

• Impact of the new feature has been identified
• The overall design will deliver our objectives of evolutivity, availability, performances, while keeping this simple as much as possible.
• Interfaces between products are clearly defined and documented
• Design and implement the automated integration testing strategy
• Prepare the end to end functional testing plan
• Execute and analyze the defined tests
• Own the Regression tests execution plan  
• Work with the Tools team to continuously improve our regression testing tooling
• Coordinate with Projects and Release Managers to make sure regression testing is performed in due time for all projects

Job Description Summary

The QA Analyst in the Solution Design & Integration Team, is accountable for functional end-to-end testing for 1 or n projects. He should define the test objectives at Features level and the associated coverage. He identifies potential gaps and design, executes, automates integration tests on application requirement standards to guarantee successful implementation of core trading applications. 
The candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging subjects to address new functional changes to existing applications, or support the launch of new applications. These initiatives are managed using Agile methodology.

Key accountabilities

The QA Analyst in the Solution Design & Integration Team, is accountable for functional end-to-end testing for 1 or n projects. The selected candidate should define the test objectives at Features level and the associated coverage. He identifies potential gaps and design, executes, automates integration tests on application requirement standards to guarantee successful implementation of core trading applications.  

The candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging subjects to address new functional changes to existing applications, or support the launch of new applications. These initiatives are managed using Agile methodology.

The main focus of the mission will be related to the automation of integration tests.

• Be interested in “Trading” Business
• Contribute to the definition of the integration test plan for a project (Define the test objectives at feature level, and design, execute, automate the associated test cases
• Contribute to the automated integration test strategy definition depending on the products (from the creation of a new framework to the improvement of the maintainability
• Automate integration tests following the automated integration test strategy defined

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• IT Engineer graduated with no or a few years of experience.
• A clear understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Knowledge in testing methodologies.
• Experience in one or several of the following languages: C, C++, Python, SQL, Bash, Shell
• Working knowledge of any flavor of the UNIX operating system. Red Hat is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills & team work.
• A very good level of English is required.
• Experience working with Continuous Integration is a plus

Missions

M&A / Corporate Development side

• Monitor upcoming deal opportunities and identify industry trends through a detailed screening process
• Produce memos and presentation supports in relations with live or prospective M&A processes
• Perform financial modelization
• Work with internal teams in Due Diligence processes
• Work with operational departments in the integration processes post-closing

Strategy / CEO office side

• Participate together with the Chief of Staff in various strategic projects
• Draft briefing materials for the top management for events or specific meetings
• Assist the Chief of Staff in the preparation of internal meetings
• Support the Group CEO and Chief of Staff on day-to-day business management topics
