Key Accountabilities

  • Within the Primary Markets department, the Equity Listing team is in charge of setting the commercial strategy and driving the financial results of the business line across our markets, in close cooperation with the sales team.

  • Reporting to the Head of Equity Listing, the Equity Listing Strategic Project Manager will be in charge of designing and delivering initiatives to enhance Euronext’s value proposition and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges, in cooperation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Such initiatives / projects may include, but are not limited to: (i) enhancing the commercial coverage model towards existing and prospective issuers by structuring a dual sectorial and geographical coverage strategy  in cooperation with the sales and marketing teams; (ii) segmenting the commercial and operational value proposition for various IPO prospect targets such as SMEs, SPACs, tech companies, family firms, PE-portfolio companies to fulfil their particular needs, constraints and objectives; (iii) optimizing the end-to-end customer experience for listed companies at various touchpoints, i.e. the IPO process, corporate actions, regular commercial coverage interactions; (iv) improving the visibility and attractivity of Euronext as a listing venue to firms outside Euronext’s core geographies by identifying pockets of potential IPO or dual-listing candidates, designing specific value propositions for them, and setting up a commercial approach in cooperation with the sales teams to source new business.

  • Importantly, the Equity Listing Strategic Project Manager will lead the business units’ efforts in anticipating market trends and new commercial opportunities, and implementing strategic moves. He/She will contribute to the group-wide strategic planning effort on behalf of the business unit in cooperation with management.

Profile

Job Summary

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) work unit is responsible for how users within an organization are given an identity, and how it is protected, including saving critical applications, data and systems from unauthorized access while managing the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization.

This position facilitates identity and access management. The position is liable for ensuring that customer requests for security access is completed in a timely manner, provides second level technical support to the project team and end users.

The selected candidate will perform ticket management and participate in project meetings. It is the responsibility of the IAM analyst to manage Identity and accesses.

Euronext Information Technology

Our IT team​ provides end-to-end technology support across the Euronext business, comprising of circa 300 staff primarily located in Porto, Lisbon, and Paris.

IT has a core responsibility for developing, supporting  and protecting the key trading platforms Optiq® in addition to the surrounding applications. In infrastructure, IT is responsible for Data Center management including all hardware, such as server & storage equipment right through to end user computing, such as desktops and mobiles. IT is also responsible for protecting Euronext systems from cyber attacks and data theft.

Role profile

Working in the Information Security Team, the successful candidate will find themselves engaged in all areas of the business at Euronext. Further, the boundaries of the role extend beyond Euronext’ perimeters where third parties exist and need to be engaged or responded to.

The function is heavily involved in the day to day running of the Information Security practice and wider security programme across the organisation based on global recognised frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, Cobit, NIST).

A high degree of independence will be afforded to the candidate, who will be working on key projects across the organisation. The candidate must have an in-depth security background and work alongside other information security teams from both inside InfoSec and outside in other IT teams.

The candidate will also work very closely with business side staff in the form of executive project sponsors, business analysts, enterprise architects, and project managers. The role will be engaged as a primary resource on a project from conception through to delivery and beyond. Heavily engaged in project engagement processes to establish the security requirements and controls of an initiative, risk assess the requirements, and deliver high and low level security solutions and designs.

Key accountabilities

  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Programme;
  • Assisting with efforts to align internal security practices with industry best practices and security frameworks commensurate with strategy and the expectations of our clients and regulators;
  • Stay abreast of the threat landscape specific to Euronext and adjust/draft solutions designs according to developments in this space;
  • Timely and accurate reporting of the current state of all assigned projects/initiatives;
  • Keeping track of policy and standards exceptions and the risks aligned to them;
  • Keep abreast of new risks and trends in the threat landscape that may need to be addressed within information security policies, procedures and standards;
  • Exhibit a broad knowledge of security compliance and auditing frameworks and apply those to formulate policies, procedures and standards;
  • The delivery of ongoing security awareness and training through various tools and workshops;
  • Ownership and oversight of all controls owned by InfoSec, including the approval point for all change efforts, etc, that might impact any such controls.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in a specific Information security role (e.g. related ISO 27001 consultant / projects);
  • Experience within the financial sector will be a considerable benefit;
  • Past/proven experience working in a team;
  • Established background in Information Security Risks processes and in IT/Information Security Audit;
  • Strong background and knowledge of working with and implementing international security standards and frameworks, such as; ISO27001, ISO27002, ISO27005, NIST, Cobit 5, etc.;

They operate as a virtual team across locations (Paris/Amsterdam) in which similar activities are combined and specific product knowledge is maintained. Department

Within the Risk Management Team, with team members working from different sites (Paris, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen), operating across the Group, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the Risk Manager, will be located in Paris.

The apprentice will assist the Risk Manager in the risk management process (e.g. risk registers updates), related tasks (e.g. ensuring quality and organization of risk registers data, planning of the registers updates) and projects. In doing so, the apprentice may be required to work with other team members and 1st Line of Defence stakeholders (especially risk coordinators). As a creative force, the apprentice will also contribute to the improvement, development and maintenance of the risk management tool.

  • Assists in the update, development, management and monitoring of risk registers across the Euronext Group.
  • Work with the 1st Line on the development of targeted risk indicators to assist 1st Line measure their risks.

    Department

    • Within the Listing Department, under the supervision of the Head of Listing France, the Apprentice Junior Sales will support the French Sales team by developing and producing market intelligence and sales pitches.

      He/she will work with the French Junior Sales to provide qualified updates on key priority areas (Tech companies, Family-owned businesses etc.), analyse primary and secondary markets deals as well as organize an active and regular competitive watch.

      The Apprentice Junior Sales shall be in charge of supporting the local teams with the preparation of their meetings and presentation materials. Consequently, his/her practice areas will range from peers analysis and global ECM/DCM benchmarks to stock performance analysis.

    • Key Accountabilities

    Working closely with the Portfolio Management Office in Paris in particular, the successful candidate will be part of Euronext Portfolio Management Office (PMO). He/she will focus particularly but not exclusively on:
    -    Supporting the transition as we work with IT to increase the level of process automation (e.g. for the submission of Initiative requests to PMO);
    -    Helping to maintain the PMO document repository (SharePoint) and in particular maintaining key logs on behalf of the PMO Team;

    Job Description

    • To support the team, the Company is looking for an intern to integrate the Financial Derivatives Paris team to help them ensure the business competitiveness among a demanding and fast growing environment. The intern will help the team for market and product development activities for its Derivatives franchise.
    • The individual needs to have excellent communication skills and strong learning appetite combined with some, at least, basic knowledge of the Equity Derivatives instruments and the Exchanges industry.     • The intern will help the team to support the client interaction. Client targets include buy side, sell side, liquidity providers, asset managers and clearing members based in the continental Europe and UK.

    Missions

    Main mission: The intern will be part of a strategic integration project to further develop the derivatives franchise

    • Monitoring of the business environment: regulatory changes, competitive intelligence analysis in derivatives markets. (new products, performance, potential differentiation etc.).
    • Production of client/market reports for internal and external reviews of the Derivatives franchise
    • Monitoring of client performance (volumes, strategies) and associated reporting.
    • Provide support to product developers for product launches, or existing product enhancements to better service our trading client’s needs.
    • Produce the new / updated selling materials of the Euronext trading products.
    • Involvement in current strategic projects, including support of project management with reporting, resource planning, and budget track
    • Work collaboratively with the transversal support teams including (a) the Statistics, Finance and Legal teams to optimize pricing, analyse trading behaviours (b) Project Management and IT to help delivering key initiatives.

    The ideal candidate

    • Strong academic credentials from a leading Business School / University or Engineering School.
    • Previous internship in the Financial industry is a plus but not an absolute requirement
    • Knowledge of Equity Derivatives instruments
    • Understanding of the financial markets infrastructure
    • Results driven, tenacious, eager to learn  
    • Sales / Marketing skills
    • Strong personal motivation and sense of autonomy are crucial
    • Rigorous, transparent and honest approach to work as high attention to detail are essential
    • Fluent English is compulsory, French or other languages are a plus
    • Social ability skills and strong team spirit are required   
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus
