The Cash Equity and Data unit is the key revenue generator for the Euronext group and has organic growth, as well as revenue protection in a strongly competitive environment, at the core of its mission. In this context, the analysis of the external environment and roll-out of new business initiatives, capturing regulatory changes and business needs across the industry, is a vital part of our day-to-day activity.

Against this background, Euronext wishes to invest to strengthen its Projects and Functional Analysis team, that leads the definition of the project pipeline, as well as the implementation process for new, business-critical initiatives ensuring coordination and cooperation across business teams, Exchange Market Services and Technology. In this function, the new role must be able to liaise with business Product Owners to support the definition of business requirements for new initiatives, as well as act as a business Project Manager on the assigned projects. It can be estimated that, on average, the activity will be split 70/30 across product development and project management. The core activities for the role are:

1.      Assist the Head of Projects and Functional Analysis in the definition and tracking of key projects and initiatives

2.      When acting with the role of PO support (product development), work hand in hand with the business owner to frame new ideas into projects:

  • Benchmarking against competitors, including analysis of technical details for similar services or functionalities, when available

  • Position the initiative in the existing European and domestic regulatory framework, in coordination with the Euronext Regulation, legal and compliance team

  • Drafting of business requirements and support to business owners in the preparation of client documents

  • Act as a product expert to support client interactions

3.      When acting as a business project manager, coordinate the execution of the project, according to the Euronext project management policy:

  • ensure readiness of business case, business requirements and project documents

  • preparation of project documents to ensure consistency against business requirements, with the ability to arbitrate in case of issues, escalating to senior management when necessary

  • review of technical specifications and kinematics, to support business teams during client interactions

Summary of the role

This position is for a Software Developer in the Compliance Services product line, responsible for software development activities of ComplyLog and all regulatory technology solutions for issuers and advisors.

The key accountabilities for this role are

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications.
