Launch of options on Nyrstar
On 3 March 2008 Nyrstar, the world's leading zinc and zinc alloy producer, entered the BEL20 index. Simultaneously Liffe launched via the Brussels derivatives market new option contracts on Nyrstar under the ticker symbol NYR. [ Press Release (PDF) ]  [ More information ] 
Launch of options on two ETFs
Since 18 February, new option contracts are available on two ETFs: the iShares FTSE 100 ETF and the ISX (underlying: iShares DJ Euro Stoxx 50 ETF). These contracts are listed on the London and Amsterdam derivatives markets respectively. Both contracts will also be available on Bclear. [ Press Release (PDF) ]
