Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, London, Paris, 25 November 2004 – Société des Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône was today admitted to the Premier Marché of Euronext Paris.

The company placed 29.56 million shares on the market to raise a total of EUR 1.21 billion. The underwritten global placement reserved for institutional investors was oversubscribed more than 13 times, while individual investors placed nearly 1.3 million orders.

The shares opened at EUR 42.50 at 12 noon CET. At this opening price, capitalization stood at EUR 4.67 billion.

Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône is Euronext’s 44th listing in 2004. Since January, new listings have raised EUR 9.3 billion on the market.

Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhône is France’s no. 2 motorway operator and ranks third in Europe in terms of both network size and revenues.
