Infogrames appoints Pascal Cagni as new independent Director
Lyon, France, June 17th, 2008 - Infogrames Entertainment today announced the appointment of Pascal Cagni, Apple General Manager and Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as an independent Director of its Board.
Pascal Cagni started his career with Booz, Allen and Hamilton as a consultant. Whilst still under 30 years old, he established the French subsidiary of SPC in Paris, one of the world's leading software publishers and quickly became SPC's European Director of Marketing and Business Development.
In 1995, Pascal Cagni joined Packard Bell where he became Vice President and Managing Director of Europe. In 2000, Pascal Cagni joined Apple as the General Manager, Vice President of Apple EMEA overseeing 121 countries.
Commenting on this appointment, Michel Combes, Chairman of the Board, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Mr Cagni as a member of the Board of Directors of Infogrames. We are convinced that his competence, his experience in the consumer technology and internet sectors and his independence will help to strengthen and enrich our Board".
