Our acquisition of the CBOT’s precious metals complex from CME Group will bring trading of full-size and mini Gold and Silver futures, and options on futures contracts to NYSE Euronext’s family of global exchanges. #
While we transition these products to NYSE Liffe, our new U.S. futures market (subject to CFTC approval), Gold and Silver remain available to trade on the existing platform, and no changes are necessary to current CBOT connectivity. CME will continue to clear the contracts on an interim basis.

# The products referred to on this web page are currently listed for trading by the Chicago Board of Trade and cleared through CME Clearing. Subject to Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval, these products will transfer during the second half of 2008 to a newly established Designated Contract Market (to be called NYSE Liffe) owned by NYSE Euronext.
