In 2007, NYSE Euronext’s U.S. and European equities markets attracted more initial public offering (IPO) proceeds than any other exchange group in the world. IPOs on NYSE Euronext markets raised a total of $78/€54 billion in proceeds, including closed-end funds. Excluding closed-end funds, IPOs on NYSE Euronext markets raised a total of $48/€33 billion, also more than any other exchange.

Among the world’s largest IPOs to have listed on NYSE Euronext markets in 2007 were Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX), MF Global Ltd. (NYSE: MF), Sterlite Industries (India) Ltd. (NYSE: SLT), Nyrstar (Euronext Brussels), Conversus capital (Euronext Amsterdam) and Bureau Veritas (Euronext Paris).
