> Membership of the Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels markets

Further to the info-flash sent on 17 September regarding the Black Window Period, Euronext would like to remind its customers that the Black Window Period will start on 6 October and last until 14 November (covering the three weeks before and three weeks after the Lisbon migration to NSC and Clearing 21, scheduled for 24 October 2003).

Consequently, Portuguese Trading and Clearing members will not be able to extend their membership to the Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris cash segments on 24 October 2003, due to the Black Window Period.

Those Portuguese members who request to extend their membership will only be able to join the Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris markets after 14 November, on condition that they are fully operational, and technical conditions are fully met.

These procedures also apply for Trading/Clearing members of other segments wishing to extend their membership to the Lisbon segment.

For further information, please do not hesitate to contact your local account manager.

Kind regards,

Euronext Cash Market
