There are issuers of investment funds all over the world. An enormous number of respected financial institutions is serving the investing community with investment funds in all possible varieties. The vast majority of these investment funds are not listed on an exchange, making the issuer responsible for the distribution of his own products as well as for providing the trading facilities.

In this respect the Netherlands are an exception. In this country the number of listed investment funds has steadily grown since the early 1990’s, making the market in Amsterdam special with regard to the number of listed funds.

These listed investment funds are traded on the NSC system, complying of course the applicable rules and regulations of this regulated market.
