The 4th Smallcap Event meeting, which took place in the Pullman Hotel in Paris on the 27th and 28th April, is a major event dedicated to small capitatlizations on NYSE Euronext markets. This two-day event is a privileged forum for European institutional investors and listed companies. The goal is to bring together institutional investors in ‘one to one’ meetings with the companies senior management of their choice.

The event has been a success with a record of 1150 meetings taking place between 179 investors / 114 institutions and 64 Euronext and Alternext listed companies. Among the companies participating, 88% were French and 12% came from UK, Germany, Switzerland. Despite the current financial crisis, listed companies attendance was in line with that of last year. These 1150 appointments organized allowed to hold an average of 17.9 meetings per company (compared to 17.5 in 2008).

The Smallcap Event, supported by NYSE Euronext is organized by CF&B Communication, and has grown steadily in popularity since 2006.
