Aérowatt is one of France's leading producers of electricity from renewable energies. The group's activity revolves around four sectors:

• preparing and financing wind power and photovoltaic projects: acquiring land, studying patterns, conducting technical and environmental studies, obtaining financing, etc.;
• construction, delegated contracting, and/or project management for power plants;
• management and operation of wind power and solar plants;
• sale of electricity.

Net sales break down by source of income as follows: sales of wind-generated electricity (93.5%) and services (5.9%), and other (0.6%).
At the end of 2007, Aérowatt was operating 32 plants, broken down into wind plants (21; total installed capacity of 57 mW) and solar plants (11; 1.5 mWc).
