Africa investor, in association with NYSE Euronext, presented the Ai Index Series Summit to global investors at Palais Brongniart in Paris last Tuesday July 1st.

With 80 participants (Investment Banks, Securities Houses, Asset Management Firms, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, SRI Investors, African companies and Exchanges, Brokers, Capital Market Regulators), this launch demonstrated high interest from global emerging market investors in Africa’s vibrant capital markets, which have consistently delivered high returns despite the global market downturn.

The Ai Index Series Summit, in association with NYSE Euronext, is to be held on the 15th September 2008 with confirmed participation from high level institutions such as JP Morgan, Renaissance Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Farallon Capital Management amongst others.
