To mark the 20th anniversary of its flagship index, the CAC 40, NYSE Euronext has organised a series of events in partnership with BFM Radio taking place over the two weeks around 23 June.
On 23 June, BFM exceptionally relocated its daily programme “Le Grand Journal” to the NYSE Euronext Paris offices on Rue Cambon.
Fabrice Lundy, who hosted the programme, looked at the history and role of the CAC 40.
Between 5.00 and 7.00 pm, the journalist interviewed company heads and representatives of France’s financial marketplace, while also covering the day’s financial news.

During the last hour, from 7.00 to 8.00 pm, he hosted a debate dedicated entirely to 20 years of the CAC 40 with Jean-François Théodore alongside
- Bertrand Collomb, Chairman of Lafarge and AFEP,
- Fabrice Marchisio, corporate lawyer, founder of law firm CVML and entrepreneur,
- Guy Mamou Mani, Chairman of Middlenext and CEO of Groupe Open
- Jacques-Antoine Bretteil, Chairman of International Capital Gestion (ICG).
The programme was broadcast live and open to an audience of professionals and listed companies.
In addition to this special programme, a larger advertising campaign has been launched. For two weeks on Radio BFM, stories from the CAC 40 retracing the key events of the last 20 years will be broadcast during the morning, while the BFM website will contain animations about the CAC 40.
